Swimming

The pool is wonderfully warm, shallow enough to stand yet deep and long enough to swim! Whether you use the pool for exercise, to improve mobility or to enjoy leisure time with the family, the waters at Fort Stamford are wonderfully appealing.

Use of the pool is included in our membership. We allow members to bring their partners children, grandchildren, parents and grandparents during ‘Members’ times. Friends and un-accompanied casual users are restricted to afternoons when the timetable allows. A charge of £5.50 applies to Adults over 18 and £3.50 for children. Children of members pay just £1.60.

Please note that ‘Adult’ times are restricted to swimming only… sorry, no messing about! Children need to be supervised under the age of 16.

We operate a strict No Running, Jumping and Diving policy. Please note that Lifeguards are not in attendance.

Whilst we endeavour to keep this website up to date, you would be advised to check availability with Reception because we do have the occasional private booking.
