Paul Davis continues to teach children to swim at Fort Stamford. Indeed, some of the children he taught ‘once upon a time’, now teach alongside him! Paul places the children into ability groups, sensitive where possible to age. He plans the lessons, coordinates his team of excellent teachers and of course, teaches himself. They truly have a fantastic reputation.

As great as thecoaches are, it helps when the pool is a lovely 31°, is deep enough to have to swim, wide enough to be able to achieve and long enough develop the strength of the more able.

Swimming lessons take place after school on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4pm until 6.30 and Saturday morning from 9am until noon. They are 30 minute lessons with up to 8 in a class of similar ability. Lessons are £30 for a block of 6 weeks. You pay for your child’s place for the following block during week 5. Pre-school lessons are held on a Tuesday morning between 10 and 12noon.
