Unlike aerobics on land, Aquafit is low-impact and the cushioning effect of the water protects joints in the spine, ankle, hip and knees.  It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities as participants can work at a variety of levels by increasing effort and using resistive equipment.  It is an effective fun workout to music in our swimming pool using floats, woggles etc... The pool depth ranges from 1.2m to 1.4m so during the class you will never be out of your depth.

Pilates fitness session is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and long, lean muscles, strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. It  puts ephasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allows adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing strong core or center (tones abdominals while strengthening the back), and improving co-ordination and balance. Pilates flexible system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty, from beginner to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. No muscle group is under or over trained.
